Okunikko / Chuzenji around New Year

Hi,
I'm planning to visit Nikko sometime around New Year, specifically will be staying 30/12 til 01/01.
I'm wondering if I can visit Chuzenji and Okunikko in general between these dates? I researched here and there and found that Okunikko can be visited via Tobu Bus - but I'm not sure if they operate during said dates.

Yes, Okunikko is open around the year, and buses from central Nikko to Okunikko run everyday of the year.
