Wakkani ferry arrival and JR train departure 2017/12/10 11:16
I know that trains in Japan run like clock-work... I see that the Heartland ferry boat arrives into the Wakkani Terminal at 10:30 and the JR train from nearby station leaves at 10:27...Im going assume that I will miss that train and thus have to wait til 13:01 departure? Does JR train take into account the ferry arrivals?

Thank you

Too early,
Next year (in Spring?) train timetable may change.

Take a taxi, 2 min about 610Y.
By walk about 15 min.

The 1pm train is proabably better due to being a limited express with better seating compared to the local 10:30am service just being a regular commuter.

281 series train vs KiHa 40.

The later train is only 30 minutes later into Sapporo. (If you are going that far?)

I will just wait and take my time and have lunch and walk around near-by.

I appreciate your responses..
