concert tickets 2017/12/22 05:54
hello!

I am going this next Jan-Feb to japan and I am looking to go to some concert/s, Does not have to be a very famous band, altough it would be cool to watch one.

would you know what good sites I can look to buy tickets from overseas? also, if sold out, any good resellers that are a trusted source I can look into?

thank you!!

I don't think you'll have any problems buying from overseas on Pia or E-plus; they ask for ab address and phone number but it's just as contact information so you can just enter the information of the place where you'll be staying.

Typically, you will pay by credit card and pick up the tickets at a convenience store when you arrive in Japan.

According to this post last year from this forum, one needs a Japanese credit card to use those services....do you know if this is the case or not?

I know I tried last year to buy tickets for a concert and even contacted the company who was selling the tickets and was told only a Japanese cc can be used....

Also I discovered that in Japan they have a lottery system for tickets for some performances and also fan club members get first dibs on tickets....

While I haven't actually tried to use a foreign card on those sites, I'd be very surprised if it didn't work.
