From Osaka Castle to Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine

Hi, my plan is to travel from Osaka Castle to Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine. (Google map: https://goo.gl/YQfiM8). I would like to ask can I use JR Kansai Area Pass for this travelling? I'm abit confused with the JR Kansai Area Pass, hoping someone can guide me. Thank you.

The JR Kansai Area Pass covers only JR lines; however, the lines that are shown on your Google map are not JR lines, so the trip will not be covered. If you wanted to travel by JR, you should travel from Osakajokoen Station via Tennoji to Nagai Station from where it is a 30 minute walk to the shrine.

I would take the JR Osaka Loop Line to Shin-Imamiya, then the Nankai Main Line to Sumiyoshi Taisha Station. The second part will cost 210 yen. Then you have a 1 minute walk.
