Lake shikotsu Ice Festival

I saw on the website that the ice festival at the Lake Shikotsu is open on the 26 jan 2018 and i would love to see it ! But im confused how am I supposed to get there ? I would be staying at oodori area . Can you suggest me the best public transport can help me to get there ?

You could transfer to that bus at JR Chitose. From Odori, you could choose JR Sapporo or JR Shin-Sapporo to transfer to a JR train to JR Chitose.

If you consider to purchase the bus pass, transfer either at JR Minami-Chitose or at New Chitose Airport.

The Chuo Bus tour above leaves from JR Sapporo, not Odori.

The fireworks are held at 18:30 only on Saturdays and Sundays. A stay at Shikotsuko Onsen or Marukoma Onsen would be ideal.
