U.S. tax specialist in Osaka

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of anyone who is living in Osaka who is certified to prepare U.S. taxes ? I have been living in Japan for five years, but just recently found out I have to file taxes to the U.S. government! I really need someone professional and reliable who can straighten this mess out. On top of that, I`m married with Japanese, so that makes the whole tax thing much more complicated! Please, let me know your recommendations for tax specialist for U.S. citizens. Thanks!

Hi I used to live in Osaka and also from USA. (4 years). I highly recommend the expat tax division of h&r block. All you do is fill out a profile form, you submit your income statements, they will give you an estimate on your situation through email correspondence, then pay online.

If you go this route, they do your federal taxes for you however, they have you send the state return separately.
