Sekizenkan Ryokan - Spirited Away 2018/2/2 13:15
Hi there,

I wonder if there is a Spirited Away tour at the ryokan. Also, is it available for non-guest of the ryokan?

Thank you in advance.

I went there few years ago but I didn't go inside because it's only the red bridge in front of the Ryokan that inspired Miyazaki. Inside of the bath house in the film was inspired by Dogo Onsen in Matsuyama. So I think you don't need a tour for just the bridge, you can just walk there and take a photo.

I don't think any ryokan is really in the business of giving tours. They would shy away from anything that might disturb their guests, who are there to relax.
