student visa interview

So I got a scholarship from a private school in Japan and just received my CoE , next week I'll go to the embassy for the visa request ,and I am very worried. So I would really like to know in which language the interview will be since I will study in english at the university and I will start learning japanese at the uni too , so i am very bad at japanese .
Other than that , I wonder if the fact that i am going with a full scholarship may affect their response ?

You didn't really give much info on where you are from but I'm going to assume an English speaking country, in that case. The interview should be in English.
