SoftBank Travel SIM 2018/2/13 00:48
I am thinking of getting a data sim for my Nexus 6P (North American model), and would be able to use more bands on the Softbank network. I have found that the SoftBank travel sim (https://www.softbank.jp/en/mobile/special/prepaid-sim-for-travel/en/) is available for $23 on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/SoftBank-Prepaid-Travel-Japan-31Days/dp/B01N929...), but it doesn't ship to Canada.

The only price I have been able to find for getting one in Japan is \5500 at the airport (https://www.softbank-rental.jp/en/prepaid/). Has anyone seen this elsewhere in Japan for a lower price? If not, I might try docomo's Japan Welcome SIM or just opt for one of the recommended ones.

Hi,

I just ordered a sim from https://www.japan-rail-pass.co.uk/ which is run by https://www.japan-experience.com.

I purchased a SIM for 30 days @ 6GB. I can top up my data if I get close to using it.

The sim uses the http://www.bmobile.ne.jp network. It does say the your phone is compatible with their sim.

Might be worth seeing if you can order from Japan Experience to get it delivered to your location.

I havnt used this sim yet so no idea how good the service will be.
