I'm an American citizen living and working in Japan.
My Japanese friends and I are planning a trip to Finland.
Is there anything I need/should do to prepare for my trip?

Unless you need a visa for Finnland there shouldnft be anything you need to do. If you are a resident in Japan you just need to fill a form at the airport stating that youfll be back within a year and show that at the passport control when you leave.
