i have a plan to shirakawago, amanohashidate and tottori from osaka.
does kansai hokuriku this pass area cover my trip from osaka to tottori? how the route goes from osaka to tottori, does it stop at fukuchiyama then change another train to tottori?
how long is the journey from osaka to tottori using route from kansai hokuriku area pass? is it possible to turn the day from osaka to tottori?

It is about 5-6 hours (use the "pass" field of Hyperdia to specify Fukuchiyama as a transit station).

The fastest railway route between Osaka Station and Tottori Station,
which wholly includes the Chizu Express line (Kamigori -- Chizu),
is mostly not covered by JR-West Kansai-Hokuriku Area Pass or Kansai WIDE Area Pass.
To travel by this route on a Limited Express Super Hakuto train
(without seat reservation),
you pay 3050 yen per way in addition.
The one-way ride lasts for about 2 and a half hours.
When you hope to minimize your additional cost,
if time permits, you can take the following course,
which is covered by the above-mentioned JR-West pass
(as long as you go without seat reservation).
