what is the most cost effective way to travel from Narita airport to Nozawa Onsen then back to Kyoto then back to Tokyo. We were thinking of a JR pass though seems very expensive for what we think will only be 3 main train trips. Or is it even cheaper to catch a shuttle bus to Nozawa Onsen then train to Kyoto then Tokyo
