Will you have a chance to stop by Nagoya?

July Grand Sumo Tournament (#) is held in Nagoya City (in Aichi Prefecture), from the 8th to the 22nd of July in this year 2018.

Advance tickets for the last several days could be so popular that you might have to try your lack to get same-day general admission tickets at the venue, waiting in a queue in the early morning.
Matches in the highest Makunouchi division take place in the late afternoon.

Nagoya is only an hour and a half from Tokyo on the shinkansen. It is possible to make a day trip out of it.
