Ochudo Trail - Subaru Line 5th Station

Hi, my family of 2 adults and kids aged 14 and 8 would like to hike around the Subaru Line 5th Station this mid-June, my questions pls:
1. Would you recommend the Ochudo Trail for our family, which has an 8 yr old?
2. We are thinking of driving our rented car all the way to the 5th Station Subaru Line from Lake Kawaguchi. Is it a good idea to drive up?
3. If we drive up and park at Subaru Line 5th Station, and do the Ochudo Trail from there, would the trail lead us back to where we started (Subaru Line 5th Station). Our car would be there and so we hope to go back to the starting point.
