We are planning to climb to Fujisan, Yoshida Trail.
In this regards I would like to know if the bus mentioned below is going to 5th Station - Yoshida Trail?
... and is it necessary to make reservation. If so where can we do it?

Seat reservation is not necessary however you might not be able to be on the bus because of full booking seat. What I did last year was also mentioned on the link here. https://mtfujirental.com/bus-from-shinjuku-tokyo-to-mt-fuji-station-5/We stayed in Tokyo a day before going to Mt.Fuji. So we actually visited the bus terminal to book 2 seats. I heard that online booking was possible but I could not find detailed information and my wife worried. So we went to the bus terminal to get information, also booked a seat for 2 of us. Booking seats are possible at the Shinjuku bus terminal, there are many counters to get ticket or book seats.
