Tall stranger in Japan

Hey im going to japan this August and was wondering how do the Japanse people react when seeing really tall people? Im 2.06 cm tall so I know i will experience some inconveniences but I like to talk with strangers and worry they might be anxious to talk to a tall bearded man.

Does anyone have some experience and tips for me?

Maybe 40 or 50 years ago you'd be a sight to see, but nowadays it's no big deal, unless you go to very rural small towns. Most places are used to foreigners of every size and shape. You'll be fine.

Im 2.06 cm tall I hope this is a typo, otherwise you are going to be in big danger of being stepped on. ;-)

I am 199cm and living in Japan and never experience any problem.
Clothes I order online etc.

In general talking to stranger in Japan is not favorite for the Japanese people.
But that you will find out by yourself

You may not be that special as you may think.
