Vintage manga and anime in Tokyo? 2018/8/2 02:00
Hi there everyone I need some help please,

I'm going to Japan next month and I'm willing to see as many otaku and videogame places as I can.

Can anyone recommend me any bookstore or Tokyo discrict specialized in vintage manga from the 50/60s. I'm talking things like Perman, Tetsujin-28, Kamui den, early Tatsumi, Tezuka and Ishinomori.. that kind of things.

Alternative manga shops? Maruo, Shintaro Kago, Tsuge, Nonsense manga (Shigeru Sugiura), Maki Sasaki manga...

Also the same goes for anime DVDs in black & white.

Any other recommendations for otaku/videogame places in Japan. Apart from the usual stuff (Ghibli, Tezuka, Fujiko F. Fujio museums, J-World, One Piece Tokyo tower, Pokemon center, Akihabara and Mandarake)

Thanks a lot!

One of the sections of Mandarake at Nakano Broadway specialises (I will use the UK spelling dammit!) in vintage & retro stuff. It should be on any otaku's itinerary anyway as it's really quite a place but take note that it the stores dont open till 12:00 http://earth.mandarake.co.jp/shop/nkn/index.html
