Yunogo onsen bus access from Okayama 2018/8/2 07:59
I'm seeing only Uno bus, leaving from Okayama toward Yunogo Onsen at around 14:30 and 16:30 and returning Yunogo Onsen to Okayama at around 6:30 or 8:30 in the morning.

With the JR line between Tsuyama and Hayashino station out until later in the year, looks like this is the only reasonable way to get to Yunogo Onsen from Okayama - does anyone know any other ways?

When will you travel?

For the route between Okayama and Hayashino Stations,
the railway operation is expected to be resumed by the end of this month.

Both the buses and the trains are very infrequently available.
Depending on time zones, a train connection seems better than a bus connection.

While the railway route is still cut off, the bus route sounds the best way.

Making a transfer at Shindo(h) Hosaki
from Uno Bus to the municipal bus (#1),
you can get to Yunogo Onsen Shita earlier.

- This bus line is operated jointly by Akaiwa City, Mimasaka City and Misaki Town.
- The route beyond Shindo(h) Hosaki is the same as that of Uno Bus.

Okayama Station Bus Stop No.12
(07:15 / 10:55)

According to JR-West,
for the two following sections,
the operation is expected to be resumed in this month (#2).

- Tamagashi -- Nonokuchi
of the Tsuyama Line (Okayama -- Tsuyama)
: On the 5th of August.
- Kozuki -- Tsuyama -- Chugoku-Katsuyama
of the Kishin Line
: During the last 10 days of August.

Oh, that's great - I'm planning on going there around the 26th. If the lines might be running by then, that would be much better than the buses.

thanks for your help -
