Tokyo - umeshu shop

Hi. Are there any shops in Tokyo central specialising in selling umeshu and fruit liqueur (yuzushu etc.)? We would like to buy a few to bring home but do not want to get them from the department stores. Selection at the airport is limited too. Thanks.

Liquors Hasegawa, located in the Underground shopping area, just outside Yaesu exit of Tokyo station, has a lot of specialty items, including many brands of craft beer. They have two shops, but the one closest to the station entrance has a larger selection. They also offer a tasting service for certain products.

As far as I know there aren't any umeshu specialty shops, but liquor stores that specialize in either shochu or nihonshu usually have a few types of umeshu and other fruit liqueurs. There are two types of umeshu - either made with shochu or made with nihonshu (sake). For the latter, I would recommend Hasegawa Shoten (no relation to Liquors Hasegawa), which has shops inside Tokyo Station and elsewhere around town. For shochu-based umeshu you might try Shochu Authority in Shiodome ( http://bento.com/rev/2022.html ). Also, Suzuki Mikawa Sake Shop in Akasaka (03-3583-2349) has around ten kinds of umeshu, and reportedly offers free tastings.
