We would like to stay at Shojoshin in Jan/Feb for one night. Could you please advise:
- Is temple stays available in Winter?
- Can one walk to the cemetery at night - i.e. without organised tour?
- Is there sufficient heating in winter (cause I know in many traditional places there isn't and I constantly freeze!)
- Are there organised night tours in Winter to the Okunoin?
- If one doesn't want to participate in various ceremonies (talking about my husband here - cause I want to), is it ok to politely refuse?
- How long does it take to get to/from Osaka and how does winter months affect the commute?
