Lacquer plate, Toshogu temple Shizuoka 2018/9/23 01:39
Hi,
I bought a lacquer plate (or plastic plate) from the Toshogu temple outside of Shizuoka a few years ago. I have not used it, have been stored in the package and as I eventually want to sell it I want to give a proper description of it.

I am not sure if it is reale lacquer or just a plastic plate.

I took a picture of it if it helps:

I can tell it is from this Kunozan Toshogu (from the name on the cover on the package):
https://www.toshogu.or.jp/english/

And on one side of the yellowish piece of paper I do see the word ޽Ší (lacquerware) so it must be lacquer finished. I assume that piece of paper gives some information about how to care for this lacquerware, but I cannot read the text no matter how much I enlarge the image on my PC.
