Hey! I know there are several ways to get from Shirahama to Koyasan but would like to hear from anyone who has done it....! Preferred route is inland via bus not via Wakayama. thanks

Have you considered car hire?
Itfs a really nice drive- great views- and you could stop off at e.g. Ryujin Onsen for a bath en route.
If therefs more than one of you, it might also be good value...
