Tokyo holidays (end of December - January) 2018/10/10 01:06
Hello,

We will be traveling to Tokyo December 30 to January 8, 2019. We heard many places are closed on New Years. Can anyone please confirm the dates that places are usually closed? Also, are there any particular place that will be opened or worth noting?

Thank you in advance.

Well, for a one to three week travel it would make sense to go for a 21 day Japan Rail Pass https://goo.gl/GPF2LP which I think its the most economic way of transport.
