Recommended local coffee shop in Tokyo? 2018/10/10 11:52
Hi, I would like to know if you have any recommended local coffee shop in Tokyo, especially around Shibuya or Shinjuku area? I'm not talking about franchises like Starbucks or Excelsior Cafe, but something that only the locals know. Thanks!

Do you realise the absurdity of asking for "something that only the locals know" on a public internet forum frequented in part by non-locals? Anything that gets posted here is not "something that only the locals know".

Just keep your eyes open when walking through these areas. There are so many. I remember one close to Shibuya station on the 2nd floor of the same building as the Toho cinema which had a nice decadent retro charm. But there are tonnes around.

A perfect video just got uploaded, "the best coffee shops in tokyo". They are funny, as usual.
