Hello, we would like to go skiing, however not only downhill skiing, but also back country and cross country. Where is the best place to go? Thank you

My recommendation is Mt. Hakkoda in Aomori Prefecture.

It is very smooth powder snow, and the snow quality was better than the other places in Japan.
There are few skiers and it is a hidden place.
