Hello all,
I am planning a drive from Kusatsu Onsen to the highest point of route 292 (Shibu toge hotel) next week (october 21). However, I am not sure if the route is currently open due to volcanic activity. I tried to look it up online but information in English is minimal. I'm only planning to drive there in the morning and back to Kusatsu as I heard that it's a beautiful route.
