Hakodate Ryokan

Hello guys

I will visit Hakodate for a few days in January and I am looking for a Ryokan close to the city centre but all I can find are places outside near the area of Yunokawa.

Are there any Ryokans closer to Hakodate Station or the Bay area?

Henmi Ryokan is located about 4 minutes walk from JR Hakodate Station.

I know it's a little bit too late for you, but maybe other people are interested in the same answer.

You're right that most Ryokan are located in Yunokawa Onsen and I highly recommend you staying there if you want the real Ryokan experience.

Also just to let you know...this is probably the best Ryokan you can find in all of Hokkaido. Unfortunately, it's also too expensive for most of us, but just look at this beauty :*(�V�ށV�l)*:

My son is teaching English in Japan - he took me to Hakodate in January 2019 and we stayed at a wonderful Ryokan called Inn Aozora. It is in walking distance from the train station! Highly recommend it!
