Kamakura one day bus pass

I am planning for a day trip to Kamakura from Tokyo, and since I'll be travelling with my parents who can't really walk a lot, I plan to purchase this useful "Kamakura Free Kankyo Tegata" one day bus pass, stated in following website: http://www.city.kamakura.kanagawa.jp/kamakura-kankou/en/transportation...However, I plan to start my day trip early (reach Kamakura at 8am) as the old folks would prefer and I am not quite sure if I can get the bus pass over the auto ticket machine or it can only be purchased at the tourist information center (which opens only at 9am). Please enlighten me! Thank you :)

The link you provided is quite clear on where to purchase. No mention of machine.

Also you can buy it at Engakuji souvenir shop from 8:00. Engakuji is close to JR Kitakamakura station and one of the must visit places in Kamakura so this might be easier. You need to pay admission fee for Engakuji before you buy the pass, but you will receive a post card for free when you buy the pass.
