Sapporo - Biei One Day Trip

So we are interested to see Biei by joining this : https://www.biei-hokkaido.jp/wp2/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/biyu_aw201...I acknowledge that Sapporo - Biei takes 3 hours alone in 1 way, but we have no choice as we have already booked our staying place there. My question would be what is the latest time we can go from Biei to Sapporo? I tried using hyperdia but it requires us to fill in the time we are going... Sorry if I miss some info. I'm new on planning my trip to Japan.
