I was offered a pair of adults ticket. Can I use them on my children that are below 12 years old ?

I guess you can.
The tickets for children are cheaper, so it shouldn't be a problem moneywise.
However, I don't know if the staff will try to explain to you , you have an adult ticket for a child.
So, I think you can, but be aware you might be talked to by staff about the ticket being wrong.
