How long will it takes to approved your japan visa application with certificate of eligibility?

It takes as long as it takes.

Check with your local Japanese embassy.
Different country embassy have different time frame.
In some countries, it takes 3-4 working days, other more working days.

Sorry I forgot to mention that my concern ia about applying japan visa in the philippines with certificate of eligibility

2�DNECESSARY TIME FOR VISA APPLICATION AND EXAMINATION

(1) For visa application filed through accredited agencies, at least (1) week ( five (5) working days) from the date of acceptance by the Embassy is necessary to be processed and released of passports to the accredited agencies.

(2) For visa application filed directly to the Embassy, applicant may come to the Embassy on the initial verification date indicated in the receipt given upon application.

I got my COE from japan after 1month and 1week
Then i send it to accredited agency here in the philippines together with my other requirements

I havent get my passport yet..
I am patiently waiting them to release my passport...i hope they will grant me the visa i am waiting for...

Hello joemz, thanks for the reply. Same case with me im also waiting for my passport to be release along with my son's passport. Patiently and hopefully it will be approved. By the way when did you apply for the visa? Mine I submitted all the necessary documents at the consul office december 12. Maybe it will take longer because of the holidays?

I also pass my paper last dec 12,,
Yesterday was the 3rd day, i tried to call the agency they told me that my paper was sent to the embassy already and it will be 7to 10 working days to be process....
So i thinks its fine
Yes holidays and weekend is not counted
27 is the 10th day
But I�fll try to call them or dropby there the day after tomorrow

When I submitted my documents at the consul staff told me that it would take 2weeks or more. But Im really hoping it would take less than 2weeks. (Praying). Can you update your status here regarding your application. Since I cannot call them regarding my application because I applied directly at the consul. Thank you so much.

As of now I haven�ft receive it yet..
Ill call them later and ill try to get any update..
But I double checked the paper they gave me when I applied
And it says there that 7 to10 days processing
But before, its 3 to 10 days processing
Today is the 7th day
So i hope🤞 They give me good update. 😊😊😊

May I know what kind of visa you're applying for? Mine is nikkiejin visa with COE for long term resident. Since my husband is a nikkiejin holding a long term resident status.
