New Japan Post Passbook

Can I get a new Japan Post Bank passbook from the Japan Post post office?
Or does it HAVE to be Japan Post Bank?
The only one near me closes at 4:00 PM and I don't get out of work until 5:00 PM.
Frustrating!!

Unfortunately you have to go to Japan Post Office during working hours in order to get the new passbook issue.
Some other bank do offer new passbook from ATM, but sadly not for Japan Post office.

You need to find the larger/main Post Office which operate until 1800hrs or just visit them on Saturday.
