Best pass for a multi-day trip to Gala-Yuzawa

Hi all,
I am going to Gala-Yuzawa from Haneda Airport (Day 1), then staying for 3 days of snowboarding before heading back to Tokyo on the 5th day.
Would it be best for me to just buy the Shinkansen ticket separately? I saw that there is the Tokyo Wide Pass, but it is for 3 consecutive days so it will not be able to cover my return trip. An alternative is the JR East Pass that could also cover my leg from Haneda to the Shinkansen station, but not sure if this makes economic sense.
Appreciate some advice on this. Thank you!

Regular Shinkansen fare will total around 14000 yen round trip. The JR East pass that is good for any 5 days spread over 2 weeks is 17000 yen and covers that trip. So if you were to travel anywhere else aside from just that single round trip to Gala Yuzawa, it would probably pay off.
