Getting to the Hyogo museum from Sannomiya 2018/12/23 16:22
On this website I can see that "The Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art can be reached in a ten minute walk from Iwaya Station on the Hanshin Main Line (4 minutes, 140 yen from Sannomiya Station)."

Could someone familiar with this destinations explain how should one locate this Line in the Sannomiya Station and what direction should one look for to find the right train to the museum? Thanks.

The information you are looking for is here. From Sannomiya station (middle of this map) you see a green line going east toward Osaka, that says "Hanshin Railways"? That's the line you want to take. Just look for "Hanshin Railways" at Sannomiya, where there are many train lines. Actually the name of the station on the Hanshin Line is "Kobe-sannomiya." If I remember right, the Hanshin platform is underground.

Once you get to Iwaya station on Hanshin line,

(in this map, the blue line is Hanshin Railways, and the yellow rectangle with a lot of characters in it is Iwaya station), you take the light brown/yellowish road that is at right angle to the blue line down to the water (blue in this map), and that building marked 兵庫県立美術館 in red font is the museum.
