Can one buy the "Shoshazan Ropeway" combination ticket at the Himeji Castle stop of bus # 8 to Mt. Shosha Ropeway?

Yes, the combined round-trip ticket from Himeji station is 1400 yen for adults, 700 yen for children. Purchase at the bus ticket office in front of Himeji station.

Thanks for the reply. However, I wanted to know if this ticket can be purchased at the Himeji Castle stop (instead at the station).

When I will be at the station, I will not yet know if we want to go up or not w. the ropeway after the Castle, and would like to avoid having to go back to the station if we decide to go w. the ropeway.

The bus stop at the castle is just a stop without any ticket office.

Zsuzsi17, no, it cannot be bought on board of the bus. It can only be purchased at the bus terminal in front of Himeji Station (North Exit).
