How can I watch Free to Air TV channels

I got a Sony plasma TV 2003 model. But I can't watch any TV channel.

1.) It has 2 antenna inlets. BS /110 & VHF/ UHF . For which I should connect antenna cable?

2.)Any additional equipments should be used?

3.)What should be the TV settings?

Not knowing the exact model but based on the year 2003,
your TV may or may not be equip with digital tuner.

In Japan after 2011, all free to air broadcast was change from analogue to digital.
Check the whether your TV antenna inlet have anything 地デジ written?

Also you will need B-CAS Card in addition to receive/decode the digital broadcast.

Quick google on the model, it does have tuner to receive digital broadcast for Free to Air and satellite BS(you need to have BS parabolic antenna).

Check if the TV has B-CAS card (blue or red)

Setting up.
1. Make sure you B-CAS card is in the slot. (refer owner manual pg.223)
2. Plug in the antenna cable to uhf/vhf inlet. (pg 198)
3. Setting up/ channel scanning. (pg210)
