Nokogiriyama in February

Hello, I plan to visit Nokogiriyama next month with my wife. We will arrive to Hamakayama where we will take the nearby ropeway to the mountain.
I'd like to know if the paved path is usually fine to walk in that month, or if I should have any snow equipment. I won't leave the paved path, and I will only see major POI, like Hyaku-Shaku Kannon and Jigoku Nozoki. Thanks!

That's an area where there "might" be light flurry but not much of snow. I would say decent walking shoes would be fine, no snow gear needed. The ropeway will be closed for maintenance from Jan. 15th to Feb. 1st.
