Renew visa, proof paid city tax 2019/1/5 21:11
Ifm renewing my visa and need to prove that I paid city tax.

What year do I ask for? The most recent - even though my last bill isnft paid because the due date hasnft come yet? Or the year before?

Normally the last financial year.

Depends on exactly what they asked for - if they said the proof that you "paid" taxes, "nouzei shoumeisho", then you'd probably want to get the one for the year before last, meaning the one that's been fully paid. If they asked for the proof of taxes imposed (meaning not yet paid), then what they want to see is the amount of your taxable income, "kazei shoumeisho," so the one from last year is fine.
