Day trip to Biei

Thinking of a day trip next week from Sapporo to Biei to see the snow fields, Blue Pond & Shirahige Waterfall. If we take the train to Biei Station, any recommendations on private vehicles for hire there? What would that cost? We're a group of 2 persons. How long would it take to visit all these places? Thank you.

Biei itself does not have many car rental outlets, but Asahikawa Airport, Asahikawa and Furano have. I do not recommend driving in Biei in winter unless you have winter driving skills.
