JR Tokyo Wide Pass around Tokyo?

Hi All!

If I am staying at Minowa, can i use JR Tokyo Wide Pass on Tokyo Metro train? Plan to use this JR Pass since i am going to GALA Yuzawa and Mt Fuji (Otsuki Station). However, not sure if it can be used to go around Tokyo City.

Below is the itinerary that has been planned

This pass is not valid for use on the Tokyo Metro. It can be used on JR lines within Tokyo, though (e.g. the Yamanote Line).

The above is correct, of course - no subways with the TWP. But you can use it on the JR Yamanote Line in Tokyo, which goes to many popular places. Savings is not much though.
Also, you can use the pass on the Fujikyu train all the way to Kawaguchiko.

thank you for the answers. in that case, i will use Suica card for stations that are not covered by JR Pass.
