Transport from Narita Airport to Asakusa 2019/1/17 07:05
My wife and I, both in our late seventies, are arriving at Narita airport on May 9, 2019. We are staying in the B Tokyo Asakusa Hotel, but have no idea how to get there from Narita airport. Please help!

My suggestion is:
After coming out in the arrival hall, look for the sign saying Station, which is down the escalator to the bottom floor, and go to the platform for Keisei Line. If you catch the Access Express, it goes straight through to Tokyo, Ueno station. You do not need to go that far, get off at Asakusa Station. The station before Asakusa is Honjo Azumabashi.
According to B Hotel Asakusa's english website, they suggest using exit 4, and it is a 9 minute walk. However, you can easily catch a taxi outside the station for the hotel.
It wouldn't be dearer than Y1000, and possibly cheaper.

If you catch the Access Express, it goes straight through to Tokyo, Ueno station.
You do not need to go that far, get off at Asakusa Station.

Actually, you cannot do that, because trains bound for (Keisei) Ueno run not via Asakusa.

Depending on time zones,
you can catch a direct train which continues beyond Oshiage onto Toei Subway Asakusa Line for Asakusa or,
make a quick transfer at (Keisei) Takasago or Aoto to a train for Asakusa.

However,
in Toei Subway Asakusa Station, there is a chain of staircases to Exit A4;
Exit A2-b, the only exit which is accessible by elevator, is on the further side to your hotel.

Unless you are good walkers,
for elderly travelers, Tokyo Metro Asakusa Station is more recommendable.

The station before Asakusa is Honjo Azumabashi.

Some trains skip Honjo-azumabashi Station, though.
