Shin-Hotaka Ropeway to Matsumoto direct bus

We'll be visiting the Japanese Alps area in early April, and wondered if there's any chance there's a direct bus from the Shin-Hotaka Ropeway to Matsumoto, or do we have to change at Hirayu Onsen?
