I have a question please , and it will be appreciated so much if you can help me

- I am Egyptian , resident in Japan ( this is my 2nd Year ) , My wife is Romanian and i would like to apply for Spouse visa for her or family Visa for her ( I do not know which is better )

- Can anyone advise what is the requirements that i need to apply for her visa , Originally she do not need Visa for 3 months , but i would like her to stay more than 3 months , like at least 6 months

- She as Romanian , she suppose to come to Japan in Early March , do you think i have enough time to apply for her visa , or can i apply for her and wait the result even after she come to Japan ?

- In case the spouse visa is rejected , and she spent 3 months in Japan , i know she have to leave Japan before 3 months ended , can she go to Korea for example as . its very near , just for one or two days , then she back again to Japan ?

It will be highly appreciated if anyone can help me with more information and Details

Thanks for you all friends and members in advance

Wish you all Great day

It is spouse of a Japanese national - did you look at the spouse visa? If your wife is not Japanese, what are you thinking - does not apply. Married couples get visas when neither is Japanese - no!

If you're permanent resident, your wife should apply for spouse visa. Otherwise, it's a dependent visa.

Since your wife is scheduled to arrive in Japan, presumably visa-free, in March, the simplest thing to do would be for her to apply for a change of status from "Temporary Visitor" to "Dependent" at an immigration office in Japan after she arrives.

OK, so I assume that you are a resident in Japan currently on a 3-year resident status (probably an employer-sponsored work resident status?), so you are not a gpermanent residenth of Japan.

If that is the case, your wife is eligible to apply for gdependenth visa, under which she can enter Japan and stay with you.

But as the above poster said, if Romanian nationals can just enter Japan with the passport, then she can simply come visit (upon entry she gets gtemporary visitorh stamp in it, with the date until when she can stay in Japan), and then you can make an Application for Change of Resident Status (from gtemporary visitorh to gdependenth) while she stays in Japan.
The nature of documents you need to do that would be: her ID document (passport), papers certifying the marriage, and papers certifying that you make enough money to support the two of you. Probably you need to get your tax certificate to show your income and taxes paid.

Are you on those Highly Skilled Foreign Professional status ?

As said, your wife can apply for Dependent Visa (COE ways) and
trying to make application from Temporary to Dependent can be tricky and hard.
The immigration office are very strict on change of status application, note that this procedure is not normally done, only case by case, up to immigration office.

Do understand that Dependent Visa (COE + Visa) and Change of Status application are two different process.

In case of your wife want to come to Japan on visa waiver, and do a visa run to Korea (that what they call it) after her 90 days is up, it is possible BUT be prepare to be question at the airport by immigration officer.
Many people have done visa run and have no problem but some do encounter problems and denied entry.

All document to be submitted to immigration for application process must be in Japanese or translated into Japanese.

No one can guarantee. You'll have to check with the immigration.
They are the one who decide.

You were given links where you can find the documents that are required when you submit your application.

Nobody can tell you in advance the result of your application.
