Convert tourist visa to dependent visa?

I have work visa of Japan. I am going to marry in the month of April. It takes some to get the marriage certificate, so my wife will come with me on tourist visa. Can we convert to dependent visa later?

Yeah well, I need to convert my wife's tourist visa to dependent visa. I am having working visa.

As said, your wife can apply for Dependent Visa (COE ways) and
trying to make application from Temporary to Dependent can be tricky and hard.
The immigration office are very strict on change of status application, note that this procedure is not normally done, only case by case, up to immigration office.
Do understand that Dependent Visa (COE + Visa) and Change of Status application are two different process.
