Nara - Getting back to Kyoto late (1am)

Hi there,
I plan to go on a daytrip to Nara on either March 12th or 13th for the Otaimatsu event - Both of these days also have an event on very late at night, namely 1.30am till 3am.
My question is, what options are there for trains getting back to Kyoto around this time?
Is the only option to find somewhere to stay in Nara if staying this late?

The last JR train from Nara station to Kyoto leaves at 23:09.
The last Kintetsu train from Kintetsu Nara station to Kyoto leaves at 23:06.
You should consider spending a night in Nara.
