Mid April Hanami Sakura Itinerary

Hi everyone!
Below is a very rough itinerary i have:
12 apr to 14: Tokyo 15 to 16: Kawaguchiko 17 to 18: Matsumoto 19: Kurobe alpine 20: Takayama 21 to 22: shirakawago 23: nagoya 24: tokyo 25: fly home

Have you looked at the predicted sakura dates? You're outside the major flowering season by about two weeks. Consider going north if your intention is to see sakura.

A few of the colder locations should be okay. But will probably be well past peak for Tokyo and Kyoto. Falling petals by then.

Thanks everyone. I thot that matsumoto and kawaguchiko is likely to bloom in mid apr as the estimates are still not available in Japan guide website.
Does nagano and niigata have a chance? Or should i jus aim for Tohuku areas?

Hello Arcaninx,
I doubt Nagano would have a chance for your week. I was at Nagano area last year and if the prediction dates are the same for whole of Japan this year, the chances of seeing sakura will be first week of April..
U might want to consider tohuku area..
