ICOCA + Kintetsu Ltd Exp and Shirakawa-go bus

Hi,
I have 2 questions that I would like some help with.
1) I'm planning to purchase the Kintetsu Limited Express seat ticket to and from Osaka-Abenobashi-Yoshino online. Could I use the ICOCA card to pay for the base fare for the journey rather than buying a physical paper ticket? This was what I used to do with Odakyu Railways when I went to Hakone a few years ago (bought the limited express Romance Car seat ticket online and paid the base fare with ICOCA) and so just wanted to check if the same can be applied to Kintetsu.
2) We are going to travel from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go by taking the first bus of the day, spend some time there and then travel to Takayama to stay for the night. I was thinking of taking either the 15:15 or 16:15 service from Shirakawa-go to Takayama. Will getting seats on either of these two services be difficult or an issue since they are non-reserved services (this trip will be on the 8th April)? I assume the Kanazawa-Shirakawa-go-Takayama buses have an undercarriage luggage compartment so luggage shouldn't be an issue too?
