JR Station Manned Gates

Hello
Just wanted to ask if JR akihabara ( Showa dori ) gates have staffs as early as 6am or earlier. We have JR pass and might leave as early as that time
I remember before at Shin Okubo stn there were no staffs around the manned gate at 5am. We have the Kanto Pass that time going to Kawaguchiko. So we have to crawl to get inside provided that we have the kanto pass so its an honest thing.
also, if we buy the tokyo wide pass during our arrival at narita. can we tell the staff that we will start using it after 3 days? or the moment we buy the pass, our 1st day starts?

Not all gates are manned.
Not all gates that are manned are manned the whole station opening hours.
There is at least one manned gate open at all of the opening hours.
You need to consult a station map and do advance research so you above example does not happen.

Akihabara is a major station. You wonft have any problems there at 6 a.m. Smaller stations vary.
