Wedding celebration in Tokyo 2019/3/2 10:17
Hi,

My fiance and I would like to get married in Japan, with just us two and two friends. We would love to have the ceremony in one of the gardens in Tokyo, does anyone know an english speaking celebrant that we could contact?

Thanks!

Do you want a Japan-law-based marriage, or do you want just a ceremony/vow? If a ceremony, then what style would it be, Western (Christian, chapel style), Shinto, or (rare though) Buddhist style? As Japan-law-based marriage consists of just submitting papers at a city hall, it does not come with any vow with a celebrant.

And do you care if the celebrant is ordained, or has any legal (or even a moral) standing to perform a ceremony – or must he simply have a beard?

She definitely should have a beard, IMHO
