Does anyone know if it is possible to enter the store at Ghibli Museum without having to buy an entrance ticket?

No you cannot.
The have a store at Tokyo station also. Which I thought was better.

Yeah, unless youfre dead set on merch with the museum logo on it, you wonft be wanting for Ghibli stuff.

Under the Skytree, they have a store, its not a official Ghibli store, but many stuff. there.

The Tokyo station store has more variety than the museum store. So it be doubtful you'd find what you are looking for.
